Religious Zionism - הציונות הדתית

Religious Zionism emerged in the late 19th century as a movement that sought to combine Zionism with Orthodox Jewish values and theology. It aimed to establish a Jewish homeland in Israel while maintaining a religious way of life. Religious Zionists believed that the establishment of a Jewish state was a step toward the eventual Messianic redemption and that Jewish sovereignty in Israel was a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. The movement played a significant role in the establishment of the State of Israel and continues to influence Israeli society and politics to this day.
